Zurich is the city I was born in, so returning for a visit felt inevitable. Despite being one of the most expensive cities in the world, I managed to explore it on a relatively tight budget, mostly because many of the most interesting sights are completely free. If you visit, make a trip to the Lindt factory a priority. Just try to pace yourself with the chocolate... or risk finding out the hard way that there is such a thing as too much.
